"...Write a vision, and explain on the tables, that he may run who is reading it." Hab 2:2 (YLT )
In our 34 years of ministry ( 26 years as pastors ), we have come to realize that there is a need of understanding the place and purpose of the local church and pastor in the life of the believer.
In today's society, the importance of being accountable is quickly fading. A familiar song, "I did it my way" is the epitomy of arrogance. God simply wants man to do it "His way!" Knowing that we are accountable to someone is a safety net. God has established the local church as a place of safety.
He also gave five "ministry gifts" to man. One of those gifts is the "pastor." We continue to accomplish the vision through teaching on subjects such as:
The Purpose of the Local Church
Recognizing the Gift of the Pastor
The Supply of the Believer in the Local Church
Being Accountable
